Wat Phra Dhammakaya Scotland (The Dhammakaya Temple) was formally established on 12 January 2016. This temple is a branch of The Dhammakaya Temple in Thailand.
Today, Wat Phra Dhammakaya has grown to become the world’s largest Buddhist organisation with over one hundred centres in thirty countries covering six continents. On Sundays an average of 30,000 Buddhists come to perform meritorious activities and practice meditation at the Temple. Every year, millions of people from around the world come to celebrate major religious events.
Nowadays, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Scotland, The Buddhist Temple of Scotland is being used as a place for practicing meditation of both Buddhists and anyone who interested.
